Camps at TSI are in full swing this summer! This week the Flying Squirrels Baseball Camp and All-Stars Softball Camp are sold out (but we have a few spots left for upcoming sessions).
The camps are packed full of fun drills and age-specific instruction to improve skills of the participants – all the while taking advantage of TSI coaching staff and others who share the love of sports.
Our field trip day on Wednesday took everyone to the Richmond Diamond to enjoy a game cheering on the Flying Squirrels!

Golden Glove Baseball Camp
This all-skills camp will feature instructions on all areas of the game, with a specialty hour each day on Outfield.

Premier Outfield & Hitting Baseball Camp
This camp will feature instruction on the following areas of the game.: Outfield, Hitting & base running.
July 29 – Aug 1 | AGES 13+
Time: 9AM – 1PM | Cost: $125
All-Star Softball Camp II
This camp – led by new Softball Director of Operations Michele Hawkins-McHenry – will feature instruction on all areas of the game: Pitching, Catching, Hitting, Fielding, and Base Running
August 5-8 | AGES 8+
Time: 9AM – 3PM | Cost: $225

Camp Tuckahoe
Camp Tuckahoe is our 7-week summer program that offers a unique theme every week!
Campers can sign up for a specific week or for all weeks.
Each weekly camp averages between 13-20 attendees – so it is a lot of fun for participants. Weekly field trips are the highlight with visits scheduled for Maymont, Washington Redskins Training Camp, and The Diamond to name a few.
This week’s theme is Olympics Week and here is a preview of what’s ahead over the next two weeks:
Week 4: Titan Games Week July 29-August 2
Campers will compete head-to-head in challenges to see who can be crowned Titan of the Day all culminating in a Titans Challenge at the of the week to crown the Ultimate Titan. An off-site field trip will be included in these activities.
Week 5: Sports Blast II August 5-9
Perfect for all sports lovers, this week of camp will focus on all types of sports. Basketball, soccer, dodgeball, football, kickball, bean bag toss and many many more activities that will be offered throughout the week. An off-site field trip will also take place during the week.
