Experience
Hello, my name is Maggie Hiatt. I am a Henrico, Virginia native who began playing softball when I was 7 years old. I played at Tuckahoe Little League for 7 years and began my travel ball career with the TSI Lady Titans for 4 years. I attended Godwin High school and played there from 2020-2023. My positions included catching, third base, and first base. During my time at Godwin I earned many accolades such as First Team All Region 2x, First Team All Metro 2x, and First Team All State. I also earned Region 5C Player of the Year my senior year along with Female Athlete of the Year for Godwin High school.
I now attend Longwood University, a Division 1 softball program in Farmville, Virginia. Having just completed my Freshman year I played in 41 games and started 35 of those games. I batted .242 with 5 doubles and 5 home runs. Catching I finished with 99 putouts and a .983 fielding percentage.
I have learned and developed so much during my time playing softball. I love that I have the ability to continue my growth at the Division 1 level. I would welcome the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with as many people as I can. My goal is to help develop young players who share the same passion for the game that I do.
