Spurred by interest from the home school community, TSI hosted an Open House on May 3, 2024. The event offered drills and coaching from Chris McKnight, VP of Baseball, Josh Youngman, Pitching Coordinator and Jesse Heikkinen, TSI Instructor. Home School students ages 6-12 were introduced to the TSI facility and staff.
As we continue to grow the connection between Tuckahoe Sports & the Home School Community, we hope to create programming including classes / lessons that could be provided early afternoons thru the school year based on interest.
TSI Mid Atlantic Orioles is also looking to fill the critical need of a Developmental Middle School team for home schoolers. Discussions of how to accomplish this task are on-going and input from this community is needed.
